A Brooklyn native, Mr. Kayar earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Purchase College, State University of New York and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Articles Editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and clerked for the Hon. Adlai S. Hardin Jr., at the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Mr. Kayar is fluent in Turkish and is conversant in Spanish.
Talat Kayar is admitted to practice law in the States of Florida, New York and Connecticut, and is a member of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
He represents individuals and businesses in immigration, including deportation defense throughout Southern Florida, New York and Connecticut.
